She was a faithful member of Lake Houston United Methodist Church in Huffman.

She loved adventure and became a successful pilot at age 57. She flew with her husband across several states to visit family. She was an avid exerciser and, at one time, the oldest member of Curves in Atascocita.

  1. A mother’s love is always with her children. Losing a mother is one of v the deepest sorrows a heart can know. But her goodness, her caring, and her wisdom live on-like a legacy of love that will always be with you. May that live surround you now and bring you peace. To live in one’s heart is never to die.

  2. I did not know Billie that well but felt like she was a friend. She was always very friendly, outgoing and always made a point to speak to me when she saw me and vice versa. We attended like Houston United Methodist Church together and also curves and she was amazing at curves. We would talk about our families when we were at curves and just catch up on each others lives. Of course when you’re at curves doing your work out there’s not much talking, lol. Losing your mom is never easy, No matter how old you are or she is. But she is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ I know she is rejoicing in heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

  4. I worked out at Curves with Billie! I am so glad I got to know her. I would see Billie occasionally at Panera Bread. What a wonderful lady! It has been years and I recall her lovingly.
    Blessings to all,
    Gloria Buchanan
