Martin “Marty” Schmidt of Kingwood, TX passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 25, 2012 at the age of 48. He is preceded in death by his mother, Norma Schmidt, and is survived by his wife, Michele Schmidt; father, Ron Schmidt; daughter, Mariya Schmidt; son, Michael Schmidt; brother, Dave Schmidt (Julie); and mother-in-law, Mary Lou Schouweiler.

​Friends may call at Darst Funeral Home on Wednesday between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00 P.M. with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00P.M.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 3:30 P.M. Thursday, August 30 at St. Martha Catholic Church, 4301 Woodridge Parkway, Porter, TX 77365.
