Obituary
Rick Reiland was born on December 5, 1969 in Parma, Ohio. His high school years were split between Crestwood High School in Dearborn Heights, MI and Kingwood High School in Kingwood, TX. While school was not Rick’s favorite, jumping into the workforce and making money was something he not only set out to do but did well. Rick enjoyed working on cars. He actually restored a 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass that he was proud of. While working in home construction, he started laying tiles and quickly became a supervisor on home building projects. Because of his incredible work ethic, Rick had no problem gaining management positions wherever he worked.
Rick was blessed with a healthy baby boy in 1994, Joshua Thomas Reiland, who was his pride and joy. As years passed, he gained a charming daughter in law, Abigayle Reiland, and beautiful and precious granddaughter, Elena. Rick was so excited about being a grandfather, he often posted pictures and counted down the days he would see her next.
Rick spent his free time hanging out with family and friends. He loved to barbeque and playing darts. Rick had an amazing memory for names, faces or dates. His favorite hobby was fishing. He would fish anywhere, but Lake George, NY was his favorite destination. He was often seen in pictures with a big smile holding a large mouth bass that he had caught that day.
Rick will be greatly missed and kept close to their hearts by his parents Myrth and Richard Reiland, brother Kevin Reiland with children Avery & Aiden, brother Scott Reiland with wife Stephanie and children Camden & Mirabel, and son Joshua with wife Abigayle and granddaughter Elena Ann.

We are so sorry for you loss. Rick was a good friend and a kind man. May he rest in peace.
I am so sorry to hear of Rick’s passing. We were neighbors 30 years ago. It had been years since we had seen each other. I had the chance to see Rick as he was at my son’s service when he passed a few months ago. Rick was that kind of person and it meant so much that he was there for my family and I. A wonderful man gone to soon! Rest in peace Rick, until we meet again. My sincere condolences to the family during this difficult time.
