Curtis left a big impact among his fellow workers at 5 Star Floors.  He was a salesman.  He was transparent and treated everyone like family.  He treated his customers like family.  He never tried to upsale a customer, he didn’t take advantage of them but instead made sure they got what they needed.  He was the kind of guy that would give the shirt off his back to someone who had a need.

rn

Curtis loved to go camping and cook.  He was an avid reader.  Avid country music fan.  Garth Brooks was his hero!  He loved his family, no matter what was going on in his life, he would drop it and respond to whatever a family member needed.  He stayed in contact with his family.  He had a dry sense of humor and a borderline genius.

rn

Curtis began going to a church in Ft. Devens, Massachusetts.  He grew up in a Southern Baptist church in the Phoenix area.  He didn’t start his walk with Christ until 1988.  He rededicated his life to the Lord in 1994.  He was baptized in a pool in Longview, WA at a Vineyard Church.  His relationship with his family grew stronger as a result of his walk with Christ.  He learned to forgive others and himself.  As a result, his family grew and Corban was born.

rn

He survived a brain-tumor, a blood clot, a failed gall bladder that almost killed him, and cancer, and his perspective never changed and that was that he had more time to spend with his family, but he also acknowledged the fact that if and when the Lord took him home, he would be face to face with his Savior Jesus Christ and that he would spend the first 10,000 years praising Him.

rn

Curtis went to sleep on Tuesday the 21st, not knowing that he would pass from this life to the next on Wednesday morning.
