Jay Mendiola, age 55, born August 17, 1962 in Fresno, California, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 in Houston.

Jay was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and partner to her family. She always knew how to make us laugh and smile and will be missed by everyone. She was a very loving and caring person and helped take care of all the kids. She leaves behind her parents, Jim and Rose Pringle. She leaves behind her sisters and brothers Doreen Mendiola, Ken and Lynn Rios, Robert and Dawn Toombs, James Pringle II and many nieces and nephews. She also left behind her partner Sharon McNeilly and her grandbabies that loved her so much. She was 55 and lived life to the fullest and will be dearly missed. She always gave more then she received and that’s her legacy. She had a great sense of humor and loved to tell people “Bite Me”.

Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear, Jay we love you and miss you.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm with the funeral service at 5:00 pm on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Darst Funeral home, 796 Russell Palmer Rd. in Kingwood, Texas.
