Cody Melton born January 27, 1939 in Port Lavaca, Texas, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 in Splendora, Texas. She is survived by a daughter, Cindy Lancaster and her husband Russell; sons, Jon Lowe and Sheldon Lowe and wife, Anna; four grandchildren, Sarah Lancaster, Jenny Lancaster, Katie Walker, her husband Shaine and their son Luke, (Cody’s great grandson), and Chris Lowe; two nieces, Ann Crossland, her daughter Michelle Cockle and her family, and Jan and her husband, and her children, Ray, Elissa, and Travis and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Darst Funeral Home, 796 Russell Palmer Road in Kingwood, Texas.
Memorial Service: A Celebration of Life was held on 2018-09-30 at Darst Funeral Home.
