Wesley C Martin, 54 of Kingwood, Tx went to be with our Lord on March 24, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Susan; daughter, Trista, step-sons, Devin and Dylan; grandsons, Jack and Josh, and his brother, Donald (Bub). Wes loved his family and friends and anyone that knew him felt that love. Wes was born in Fairmont, WV on March 31, 1960. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church North Campus in Kingwood, Tx.
Wes enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He also collected player jerseys, and had acquired an extensive collection. He enjoyed playing golf and had earned the nickname “Big Hitter”.
A gathering in honor of Wes Martin will be held from 6 to 8pm on Sunday, March 29, 2015 with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 8pm. Reverend Fred Dallas from Second Baptist Church will be officiating. Please join us immediately after the Celebration of Life for food and fellowship in the Gardens of Darst Funeral Home.
