Obituary
Lynn Alan Leventhal passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the age of 74.
Lynn was born in Houston, Texas on August 22, 1948. He grew up in the West University and Westbury neighborhoods and attended Will Rogers Elementary, Pershing Junior High and Westbury High School. Lynn graduated from the University of Houston in 1971 with a BS degree in Psychology. It was in a Psychology class where he met his future wife, Judi. Lynn and Judi married in July, 1969.
Following in his brother’s footsteps, Lynn entered the world of insurance while in college working part-time at Cravens Dargen handling the payment of small medical claims. Over the years Lynn was employed by several insurance companies, each move being an advancement in his field of Commercial Property. He was employed as an insurance broker for John L. Wortham for 27 years. He retired as an Associate Partner in 2012.
Lynn was preceded in death by his mother, Adele, father Sidney and stepmother Bess. He is survived by his loving wife and partner of 53 years, Judi, his cherished daughters, Kelli Leventhal and Lesli Leventhal Buihner and his beloved granddaughter Sydni Buihner. Also left to mourn his passing, brother Ralph and wife Georgiana, nephew Brian Leventhal and family, niece Rachel Leventhal Rimar and family, and brother-in-law Ron Segall.
