Luther Amanuel Rex Jr., 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 21, 2022 in Houston, Texas. He was born on July 3, 1937 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Luther Rex Sr. and Willy Hightower.
Luther is survived by Daughters: Bobbie Jo, Julie, Tammy and husband Steve, Mistty. Sons: Luther, Randall and wife Burlene, Danny, Denny, Donny and Johnathan.
Many Grandchildren: Luke, Sarah, Susannah, Justin, Tiffany, Rachel, Josh, Cody, Shonie, Dillon, Christopher, Rodney, Brandy, Danny, Danielle, Ryley, Leia, Denny Jr., Ashley, Austin, Dana, Dallas, Dixie, Courtney, Michael, Mark, Heaven, Serenity, Cherish, Chance.
Great Grandchildren: Clayton, Jaylee, Lincoln, Clover, Cooper, Reese, Payton, Lane, Denver, Avery, Dillon, Gavin, Noah, Alfred, Eliz, Gabby, Isabelle, Belle, Catherine, Autumn, Charles, Kayson, Kaisley, Ryder, Brody, Kaden. Landon, Miranda, Romeo, Angie, Franklin, Kama, Eric, Ariana, Andrew, Bella, Isiah, Leah, Danny, Cash, Maddy, Alyssa, Lexi, Gaige, Alexis, Timothy, Logan Trip, Daphani, Trenton, Dalylah, Teigan, Thoren. And 1 Great Great Granddaughter Myley Tae.
Luther went home to join others that have passed, Parents, Luther and Willie, brothers and sisters, granddaughter Summer, grandson L.D. Grandson Lance, Great Grandson Gavin and many other family and a host of loving friends.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Friday, August 26, 2022 at Darst Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 12 noon at Darst Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park, 22271 U.S. Hwy 59 N, Porter, Texas 77365
