Obituary
Jennifer Elaine Sala (affectionally known as “G” to her friends and family) was born on December 3, 1969 in Inglewood, California and died on February 2, 2023 in Houston, TX. She is survived by her mother, Julie Sala; her sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Bobby Behr; her brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Catherine Sala; her brother, Carl Sala; and her many nieces and nephews: Emily, Caroline, and Grant Behr, and Grace, Gwen, Tripp, and Townes Sala.
She graduated from Kingwood High School in 1988 and embarked on many adventures until she started her career at MD Anderson. G was very proud of her many achievements and successful years at MD Anderson.
G was smart, beautiful, charming, and fiercely independent. Her father would often remark that his baby G traveled to the beat of a different drum. She was so much fun and always loved to indulge in the finer things in life, including exquisite purses, shoes and a good steak and martini (never gin). G loved The Rolling Stones, annual pilgrimages to the Houston Rodeo, the Houston Astros, Texans, and scuba diving, but most of all, she loved her family and her cat, Fritzy. Who already miss and loved her so much.
Our beautiful G is at peace now in her perfect new home, resting in the arms of Jesus and her beloved Daddy.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Martha’s Catholic Church in the Holy Chapel, on Thursday, February 9 at 10:30 AM. St Martha’s is located at 4301 Woodridge Pkwy, Porter, TX 77365

Sala Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. G was definitely one-of-a-kind and as Uncle Bill said…traveled to the beat of her own drum. I know she will be greatly missed. Sending many hugs and prayers.
Julie and family: our sincerest condolences to your families. Prayers for peace and comfort to you all.

I am so deeply sorry, Julie for this heartbreaking loss to you and your family. May God hold you close in your tears of sorrow. ❤️
Jennifer “G” was one of my oldest friends going all the way back to elementary school!! We reconnected almost 20yrs ago when we both figured out she had been working with my dad ( I think 12yrs together) they surprised me at lunch one day, then after that we did everything together! She was a beautiful soul with an infectious laugh!! I will always remember and cherish all the laughs and cries we shared over the years! Prayers to the entire family! Fly high my sweet friend, until we meet again!! Love Rachel ,Jack, Macy and Emerson
So sorry for your loss!
I’m so sorry!
Jennifer was indeed unique and I loved her for that. She was kind and caring, and such a joy to be with. I have so many wonderful memories of times spent with her and I’ve missed her greatly since moving back to Canada. We did stay in touch though, and my heart broke when I heard she passed away. My deepest condolences for all who cared for her.
My deepest condolences for your loss. Rest in Peace, G.
Oh GitterBug I have so many wonderful memories of our lives together. You have a piece of my heart as you always knew you would. My prima!
I will miss knowing you are here and yet be thankful you are at peace with Jesus.
While you wait on us to join you kiss the prettiest girl and leave your lip prints on her cheeks from all of us. I’m sure it was a joyous reunion in heaven.
I have always loved you and long to be with you again.
Peace be with you Prima
