Obituary
Georgia Ann Allison Durant, 95, of Kingwood Texas passed June 18th at her Seniors residence after a brief illness. Georgia was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on November 2, 1926. She married, the love of her life, the late Archie C. Durant on July 3, 1947. During her life, Georgia lived in East Liverpool, East Palestine and Niles OH, McKeesport PA and the last 7 years in Kingwood, TX. Georgia was a homemaker and loved God and her family. She was proud that she was still mowing her own lawn prior to moving to Texas, at age 89, to be close to her son and daughter-in-law.
Mrs. Durant is survived by her Son, Larry J. Durant & wife, Linda, of Kingwood, TX; Granddaugher, Pamela Durant & Husband, Dr. Sarper Tanli and Great-grandson, Erin Tanli, all of Dubai, UAE; Sister, Becky Cline of Mineral Ridge, OH; several cousins, nieces & nephews.
Mrs. Durant was preceded in death by her husband Archie C. Durant (1992); Parents, Victor & Pearl Wynn Allison; Brothers, Victor R. Allison & Harold “True” Allison; Sister, Lelia May Allison (infant).
There will be a family graveside service & burial at the Columbiana County Memorial Park, East Liverpool, OH.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Memorial Donations be made to your favorite charity.
