Fabbri, Pauline
Obituary
Mrs. Pauline Wenona Fabbri (née Willingham), of Kingwood, TX, passed away on Tuesday, December 5th at the age of 63.
Pauline is survived by her husband Oreste Fabbri, her daughters Kristen Westmoreland, Jennifer Moore, Sharye Fabbri, and Robin Couch, her son Michael Fabbri, her brothers Timothy Willingham, Alan Willingham, Andy Willingham, and TJ Willingham, and her sister Twana Kitzman; her nine grandchildren; and her three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Moses and Betty Willingham of Montgomery, TX.
Pauline was born to parents Moses and Betty Willingham on October 2nd, 1954, in Baytown, TX. She grew up the middle child of six and attended CE King High School. Pauline married Charles Myers in 1972. They welcomed two children into their home and spent many years traveling. Over those years, Pauline worked in numerous occupations and focused on her daughters, teaching them compassion and that family is the most important part of life. She also passed on her wanderlust and sense of adventure. Her indomitable spirit saw her through many shenanigans and helped her to forge lifelong friendships. Pauline and Charles separated in 1985, and seeking a fresh start Pauline traveled to Spain before moving to Hollywood, CA.
Pauline married Oreste Fabbri in 1988. They met in California where Pauline was managing a restaurant and Oreste was working as a Facilities Engineer for Kaiser Permanente Hospital. Shortly thereafter, the couple decided to move to Pauline’s home state of Texas to be closer to family and friends. Pauline opened her heart to Ore’s son, before welcoming another daughter to their home. Pauline’s ability to open her heart and home to care for others saw to the addition of daughter in spirit, Robin Couch. The bond she shared with Robin and her children is that of mother and child, grandmother and grandchildren.
Pauline passed away during her battle with cancer. She will be remembered as Queen Pauline, fiery spirited, passionate, and always up to help someone out or try something new.
A memorial service will be held at Darst Funeral Home on December 17th at 11am CT, followed by a reception at the same location. Ryan Willingham will officiate the ceremony.
