OBITUARY

BEVERLY “Boogie” Inez (Taylor) Norris, age 55, of Magnolia, Texas went peacefully on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Boogie was born February 27, 1966 in Houston, Texas to Margie Taylor and G.W. Taylor.

Boogie is survived by her husband, Daniel Gene Norris; her son David Allen Norris of Magnolia, Texas; and her daughter-in-law Kimberly Diane Norris of Magnolia, Texas; her mother Margie Taylor of Odessa, Texas and her father G.W. Taylor of Odessa, Texas; her granddaughter Lily Max Norris.

Boogie was preceded in death by her daughter Dana Inez Norris; her brother Tony Wayne Taylor; her brother Johnny Taylor and her sister Brenda Renee Thomas; her granddaughter Ellie Taylor Norris, her grandmother Kate Taylor, and her grandfather Johnny Taylor.

Beverly also leaves behind numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephew, Cousins and Beloved Friends.

The family requests that the people attending Mrs. Norris’ service wear bright colors, preferably purple, in her celebration and honor. They also request that, in lieu of flowers, to instead donate to the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation, found here: https://www.bushhoustonliteracy.org

A Memorial Service will be held for Beverly Inez Norris on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the Darst Funeral Home Gardens.

  2. Iam very sorry for you Danny in losing your love ❤️. I remember her great and good Mississippi mud cake delicious we as a family function we will miss that dessert ❤️ She is now in heaven with tome daughter Dana and Her granddaughter Ellie . You will take care of Lily and she will take care of Ellie . And Iam sure that Dana will enjoy her mother now that she is also older . May she Rest In Peace no more pain .

  3. Dear Danny is so sorry for the loss of your loved one we as as a family function she always brought the great Mississippi mud cakes we will miss but also as a love or your life . I wish that I had known her better . You take care of yourself . Remember she will be watching you and taking care of Ellie . And telling Dana all about how good of a father and husband that you were .
