Heather Murray, 39, of Houston, passed away on October 31, 2021, in Houston, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, November 13th, at Atascocita United Methodist Church, 19325 Pinehurst Trail Dr., Humble, TX 77346. The Reverend Leigh-Anne Williams of Atascocita United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be a private family function. Arrangements were made by Darst Funeral Home, Kingwood.
Heather was born in Houston, Texas to Hugh and Jean Murray on June 27, 1982. She graduated from Alief Kerr High School in 2000. She worked in the restaurant service sector for most of her adult life. She was very involved in various social justice causes.
Heather is survived by parents Hugh and Jean, twin brother Todd (wife Yessenia), grandmother Kristin Fisher, niece Sofia, and nephew Christian as well as aunts and uncles from both sides of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Montrose Grace Place and the Sea Turtle Conservancy.

I met Heather through my daughter many, many years ago, and I remember her being such a sweet, loving and beautiful soul. I was so shocked to hear of her passing and send my deepest sympathies and love to her friends and family. May God give all of you strength and peace during this most difficult time.
