Hargrove, Ester M.

04/25/1954 ~

Ester Mae Piggee, born April 25, 1954, in Pine Bluff, AR and departed this life Friday, July 16, 2021 with loved ones close by. The family moved to Texas when she was young and here in Texas is where she spent most of her adulthood. Ester was a 1974 graduate of Kashmere High School in Houston, TX. Ester met Mark Anthony Hargrove while still in high school in 1971, they courted and joined in marriage on May 31, 1975. Ester is preceded in death by her mother and father, Rosevelt and Mary Piggee, and brothers Charles Piggee and June Piggee. Ester is survived in death by her devoted and loving husband Mark who patiently and relentlessly took care of her until she left this life. Ester is survived by her daughter, Lillcian Jackson and her grandchild Noah Jackson. Brothers, William Piggee, Eddie Piggee, and Nathaniel Piggee. Sisters, Nonia Piggee and Shirley Adams. She is survived by a host of other family members and friends whose lives she positively and loving had an impact on.
Ester spent most of her life as a Homemaker, caring for and serving her family. She reflected the character and spirit in her life of the woman in Proverbs 31. Her intent to live a Godly life was evident, and those she touched in this life were benefited by her example. She had a giving spirit, a heart with no guile, and she strove to share that with others by obeying the 2 greatest commands; Matthew 22:36-39 (36 Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second like unto it is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself).
Ester had a smile that could light up any space and she was a most delightful person to be around
