OBITUARY

Michele ‘Chele’ Pegues Englund, of Huffman, Texas passed away November 18, 2020.

Chele was a dedicated Registered Nurse serving infants and families in the neonatal unit at Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital in Humble, Tx. Born in Houston, Texas on December 20, 1966, Chele grew up in Humble, Texas and graduated from Humble High School and then received her Nursing Degree from North Harris College. She met her life partner, Karl, at the age of 14 and they married six years later. Karl and Chele have been an inspiration for a loving life for 39 years. Chele loved her family dearly and supported and participated with her family’s unusual and eclectic careers such as building and racing cars and professional MMA fighting. She cared deeply for animals and loved to travel, whether that be to a resort, a motorcycle or RV tour, or on a boat, Chele was always up for an adventure.

Chele is survived by her husband, Karl, her two sons, Taylor and wife Delaina, and Kolton; her sister Tamara Paul, husband John and their sons, Jamie and Jarred; her brothers: Randy Pegues, wife Sherry and their children, Lyndsay and Tyler; David Hensarling, wife Debra and their sons, Robert and Mikal; and Curtis Hensarling, wife Vicki and their son, Matthew. She is further survived by sister-in-laws: Robin Garrett, husband Bill, and daughter Rachel, husband Travis, and Alison Heath, husband Will and daughters Ana, Alix, and Andi.

Preceding her in death were her parents: Frances Pegues Fabian, Marshel Pegues, Jean Pegues, and her sister Marsha Jeanine Pegues.

Services will be held on Monday, November 23 at Darst Funeral Home in Kingwood with the viewing at 10 am and service at 11 am. Graveside at Rosewood Cemetery in Humble at 12:30.

Service Information

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 23, 2020 from 10:00 until 11:00 with a funeral service at 11:00 am at Darst Funeral Home. Interment will be at Rosewood Funeral Home in Humble at 12:30 pm.

  2. So sorry for your loss. May the Lord comfort you at this very difficult time. I’ll miss working with Michele — her beautiful caring spirit that was evident as we cared for our tiny patients. I’ll miss her quick chuckles when we shared a few moments between our patient care. I think speak for all of us in Respiratory Therapy that she will be truly missed.
