OBITUARY

Lisa Marie (Csengery) Campbell, of Humble Texas, just a week after her 50th birthday celebration, passed away peacefully from a long hard fight with cancer. She died at home surrounded by her loving family on October 15th, 2020. She was born on October 8th, 1970 in Houston, Texas, to her loving parents, Larry and Ellie Csengery. She was the 2nd of three children who included her “Big” brother, Christopher David Csengery, and her twin sister and best friend, Gina Csengery Razeghi. Lisa was a devoted Catholic and a lifelong member of St. Martha’s Catholic Church.

Lisa was the most patient, caring, and selfless person who lived to bring happiness to everyone around her. Lisa attended Armond Bayou Elementary, Jackson Junior High, and then graduated from Kingwood High School. Lisa pursued her higher education as a college gymnast and cheerleader at Baylor University and Houston Baptist University. Lisa received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Media and Speech from Houston Baptist University. After graduation, she began a very successful career as a Media Buyer, and her love and devotion to her career were prevalent even in her very last days. Lisa touched so many people’s lives, whether she knew them personally or professionally. Her smile was infectious and would light up a room. Anyone who had the fortunate luck of meeting her loved her and said they were a better person for knowing her.

She found the love of her life through a coed soccer league and married Keith Michael Campbell on September 13th, 2003 at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. They celebrated the births of their two wonderful children, Cole Michael Campbell on April 29, 2005, and Tessa Elle Campbell on November 20, 2007. Once married, she devoted her entire life to her family and remained an amazing caring friend to all. Lisa was an incredible wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She was always someone you could count on and never failed to give the best advice or make you feel better with her nurturing and caring attitude.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Keith Michael Campbell, and her two amazing children; Cole Michael and Tessa Elle Campbell. She is also survived by her parents, Larry and Ellie Csengery, and brother and sister; Chris Csengery and Gina Csengery Razeghi. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, in-laws, and special friends, that she loved and touched deeply. She will be missed dearly but never forgotten.

Please join us in celebrating her life on Wednesday, October 28th for the Visitation at Darst Funeral Home in Kingwood, Texas from 6 to 8 PM. The Funeral will be held on Thursday morning, October 29th at St. Martha’s Catholic Church at 11 AM.

  11. It was a pleasure working with Lisa the past four years. She was always such a kind and gracious colleague, and will certainly be missed. All of us from KDFW in Dallas send our thoughts and prayers to her family and friends.

  12. We have known Lisa for over 40 years when she and Gina were 10 years old in West Virginia. Lisa went to school with our daughter, Krystee, and trained on a gymnastics team together. I had the pleasure of coaching her on a basketball team when she was 10 years old. Lisa was always energetic, hard working, and always had a big smile. Our thoughts, prayers, and love go out to her family. Don and Margie Tooker

  14. Sending love and prayers to all of the family. We are all so shocked that she is gone. She was a cheerleader in every sense of the word: happy, bubbly, positive and always bringing positive energy to wherever she happened to be. She will not be forgotten. Gina, I cannot imagine how difficult this is for you; you two have always been inseparable. May God’s Grace be with her husband, children, parents and siblings. The Class of 89 has lost another gem. We know that they are continuing the party in heaven. Praying that you laugh more than cry as you reminisce over stories about Lisa. Rest in peace, dear friend.
