OBITUARY

Brooks Moore of New Caney, Texas passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was born in Houston, Texas on December 26, 1958. He grew up in New Caney, Texas where he spent most of his life and graduated from New Caney High School. He married the love of his life, Sharon, in 1983 and they were married for 36 years. During his life, Brooks was a volunteer firefighter, EMT, and devoted 4-H, FFA, and band dad. He retired from the Texas Department of Transportation where he made many lifelong friends. In recent years, he has enjoyed traveling with his wife, making lots of fun memories with all of his girls, and spoiling his granddaughter, Kylie Jade, rotten. Brooks is survived by his wife Sharon, daughter Jessica Kneisley, her fiancé Chris Lowell, and their daughter Kylie Jade, daughter Lauren Ramirez and her husband Thomas, daughter Kate Stalsby and her husband Corey, beloved sister Karen Moore, partner-in-crime David Cunningham and his wife Linda, and numerous family and friends near and far. He was preceded in death by his parents Lynn and Ray Moore and mother-in-law Glady-ola Dowell. Visitation will be held at Darst Funeral Home at 796 Russell Palmer Road in Kingwood, Texas on Tuesday April 28th from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers,donations can be made in Brook’s memory.
