She treasured her children and grandchildren, embracing every moment with them.
Ammachi came to the US in 1998. She was known for her prayer and unwavering faith. As a pious woman of God, she led an exemplary Christian life that was inspiring to all those around her. She had a stoic personality and never failed to put a smile on the face of others. Ammachi celebrated her final 86th birthday with close family and friends on March 3rd of this year. Ammachi was preceded in death by her loving husband Varghese Plavumkal in 1999 and she was the last among her 6 siblings to be called to the Lord. Ammachi is survived by her two daughters Kanakamma Joy & Sunitha John, her two sons-in-law, Joy Thomas & Sibu John. She has five grandchildren Justina & her spouse Sibin, Justin, Jessica, Shan, and Shibin. In her last days, she held a sense of contentment and readiness to be with her Heavenly Father.
Long-known for her humility and prayer, our dear Ammachi was a blessing to everyone she met and will be dearly missed by all. All who loved her will never be able to forget her tenacity, charm, and abounding love for others. We will truly appreciate, honor, and celebrate the story of her life.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
