Obituary
Lovelace, Robert (Bob) Lynd
Robert Lovelace, 70, passed away Monday November 11, 2019, unexpectedly of a heart condition.
There will be a garden service on Saturday at 12 noon, November 23, 2019 at
Darst Funeral Home in Kingwood, Texas.
Bob was born on January 15, 1949 in Big Springs, Tx to Bayard and Ida Lovelace.
He was a graduate of Denison High School, and after attended Baylor University on a sports scholarship.
In 1985 he received his Texas Real Estate Inspector license and found a profession that he was passionate about.
He loved sports, movies and was an avid reader of history – any and all history. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was never at a loss for words. He also loved to cook special foods during the holidays; we all loved his cooking, and family and friends will all very much miss how he made
the holidays more memorable with his culinary talent.
Bob always had time for people when they called him to talk, answer questions or to give his opinion. He would stop what he was doing and give them all the time they needed. He truly cared about his friends, business associates and the people he worked for in his inspection business.
Bob is survived by his wife, Dawn of Kingwood, Tx; his children Brad Lovelace of Kingwood, Texas, Kenyon and wife Kristen Lovelace of Spring, Texas, and Jenna Lovelace Ratlief and husband James of Midland, Georgia; Grandchildren Hailey, Colton, Lilly and Jax. Bob was an only child and both of his parents have passed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

There will certainly be a void in the days ahead and we will fondly remember Bob’s wit and enthusiasm to share his vast knowledge like “Ask Me How Home Show”. Prayers to the family as they adjust to the loss. Love Debby
So sorry for your loss. He was one of a kind and will be truly missed
I knew Bob through the Inspection industry. I first met him at one of the inspector training classes. Bob was always keeping the instructors on their toes to insure we all received proper training. He was a great example of what an inspector should be and encouraged all others to do your best and know you job. Sorry for your loss…..RIP Bob
I knew Bob as a friend, not through business. I met Bob and his wife 41 years ago as they were the first neighbors I met after moving to Kingwood. Who would know we would raise our children together & share a lifetime of memories during those 41 years. I will truly miss you, Bob, as will my family members. Thanks for your help when I needed you & may you Rest In Peace.
