Richard Gowdy, age 78, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2019. He was born in Queens, New York and moved to Houston in 1976. An avid golfer, he loved a good joke and had a great sense of humor.
Dick is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Pat; three children, Bob (Michelle), Kathy, and Chris Ivey (Rick); Six grandchildren, Ryan, Katie, Robert, Nicole, Ross and Brent.
He is predeceased by his mother and father, Madeline and Jim and his brothers Jack and Jim.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, 11/16/2019 @ Darst Funeral Home from 3-5pm. Located at 796 Russell Palmer Road, Kingwood, Texas, 77339.
