Obituary

William “Bill” T. Patterson, 77, of Splendora Texas was born on March 12, 1942 in Wichita Falls, Texas and passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. Bill was the third of four children born to Marion Patterson and Mary Tasker. William lived in many places throughout his life. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1959 to 1973 and went on to attain the rank of Capt., he received several medals for his dedicated service in the military. On September 6th, he was married to Marianne Jacobi in Florida. William loved painting, country music, hunting, and fishing. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marianne Jakobi; mother, Mary Tasker; and father, Marion Patterson. William is survived by his sisters, Patricia Abrahams and Mary Louise Wade; brother, James Patterson; daughters, Mary Jane Patterson and husband Charles Campbell, Mona Patterson Stout, and Pamela Patterson Mitchell; grandchildren, John Suggs, Christy Suggs, Samuel Rodriguez, Dylan Stout, Megan Stout, John Stout, Gavin Stout, Jenna Stevenson, John Mitchell, 8 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
