Farris, Patricia L.

Patricia Lee Farris (68) of Splendora Texas Passed away at Kingwood Hospital on August 26th, 2019. Patricia was born on September 21st, 1950 in Newburgh, New York to Leo and Margaret Bishop where she grew up and met her husband and had 2 daughters (Lisa and Michelle). She later moved to Colorado in the late 70’s where she had her son (Michael). While raising 3 children Patricia decided to go back to school to receive her BA in rehabilitation services and a teaching certificate. After obtaining her degree she moved to Splendora, TX where she taught special education at Greenleaf Elementary for 10 years. In her final year at Greenleaf she achieved her goal of teaching Kindergarten. In 2017 she retired and pursued her passion of traveling and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoyed yardwork, gardening and loved cutting her lawn. Her favorite pastime was spending quality time with all her grandchildren and great granddaughter. Patricia was a gentle, loving, caring, wise and spiritual woman who always gave more than she had. She was preceded in death by her parents, nephew, grandson, older sister, ex-husband, and brother in law. Patricia is survived by her 3 children Lisa, Michelle, Michael, her sister Elisabeth, 3 Grandchildren and a great grandchild.
