Obituary
Ofelia J. Keever, 85,of Corpus Christi, Texas was born in Mathis, Texas on July 1, 1934 and went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 24, 2019. Ofelia was the second of two children born to Herminia Hernandez and Benjamin Jauregui. She attended Mathis High School and later started her career as a cosmetologist In March 1951, Ofelia married David Keever. She was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church and involved in the Veteran’s American Legion. In her spare time, Ofelia loved cooking, crocheting, and puzzles.
Ofelia is preceded in death by her husband David Keever and daughter, Lucille Keever. She is survived by her daughters, Evangeline Keever and Maryann Keever; sons, Albert and Minerva Keever, Robert (Bob) Keever, David and Pat Keever, Gerald and Michelle Keever; 18 grand kids, and 24 great grand kids.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 10:00am at Darst Funeral Home at 796 Russell Palmer Rd in Kingwood, Texas 77339.

I will forever miss her homecooked meals awesome conversations about life love happiness God doing the rite thing about my grandpa David who she loved and missed so much ….she was so intelligent and smart and creative and loving I miss u grandma and still cry over u wen I think bout u till this day but I Kno u are up in heaven with my gorgeous Aunt Lucy with God in heaven until we meet again…
