OBITUARY

Christopher Joseph Lyden, age 48 passed away on Tuesday July 2, 2019. Christopher was born April 6, 1971 in Parma, Ohio to Vince Lyden (wife Marilyn) and Cheryl Gawlikowski (husband Robert).  He is survived by his brother Brett ( wife Kristin) and nieces Bonny and Klare;  Brothers by marriage are Bob Gawlikowski (wife Karla) and their sons Dylan & Everett and Mike Gawlikowski (wife Amber) and their sons Chase and Carson. He is also survived by his uncle and aunt Jerry and Carla Lyden and cousins Sean & Brendan Lyden and cousin Georgia Andras.

Chris studied Finance and Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin, attended University of Houston,  then found his passion in the Hospitality Industry.  Chris spent the last decade managing the bar @ Birraporretti’s.  He loved his work and built great relationships with his patrons and his co-workers.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Most of all, since childhood, he spent many summers on the lake boating, skiing, and other water activities.  He was a “fanatic” for his favorite NFL team – The Pittsburg Steelers.

Chris was characterized by those who knew him to have a heart of gold, an infectious smile and a laugh that could heal.  He was a kindred spirit to all.
