April 6, 1971 - July 2, 2019

Christopher Joseph Lyden, age 48 passed away on Tuesday July 2, 2019. Chris studied Finance and Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin, attended University of Houston,  then found his passion in the Hospitality Industry.  Chris spent the last decade managing the bar @ Birraporretti’s.  He loved his work and built great relationships with his patrons and his co-workers.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Most of all, since childhood, he spent many summers on the lake boating, skiing, and other water activities.  He was a “fanatic” for his favorite NFL team – The Pittsburg Steelers.

Chris was characterized by those who knew him to have a heart of gold, an infectious smile and a laugh that could heal.  He was a kindred spirit to all.
