Obituary
Judith Ann Sheehy Johle, was born May 8, 1943, in Beaumont, TX and passed away February 2, 2019, in The Woodlands, TX. She is survived by her husband, Richard “Dick” Johle; son, David Johle and was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Johle.
Judy was born to James Harold (“Bill”) Sheehy and Jane Aileen (Shear) Sheehy at the Hotel Dieu in Beaumont. Her parents moved to Orange, Texas and then later to Floresville, Texas where she graduated from Elementary, Junior High and Floresville High School in 1961. She graduated from Lamar University with a BS degree and then from Sam Houston University with a MS degree. She taught in the Brazosport Independent School District and later in the Pasadena Independent School District. Due to transfers of her husband, Judy lived in Lake Charles, La, Trumbull, Ct. and Langhorne, Pa. and eventually settling in Kingwood, Texas. Judy taught at Kingwood College as an adjunct instructor in the business area for 18 years. Judy was an active member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. She will be missed in the Good Shepherd family as she was active in many ministries and events until she became ill, and even then, helped with the Blood Drive, and emailing Pumpkin Patch volunteers back in October from the hospital. Judy delivered cookies with Treat Our Visitors, food with Casserole Patrol, worked tirelessly many years on Altar Guild, traveled with Road Runners, and was coffee hour hostess for as long as she was able – she was a member of Good Shepherd for 34 years. Judy also served as a volunteer at the Harris County Kingwood Bookstore Resale shop.
In addition to her husband and son, Judy is survived by her brother Rick Sheehy, his wife, Elizabeth Sheehy, and their son Donald Sheehy. By her brother in law, Eugene Johle, and his daughters Lisa Hodroff and Sherry Gray. Also, by nephew, Michael Dempsey and Dina Dempsey Dreifuerst.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Friday, February 8, 2019, at Darst Funeral Home, 796 Russell Palmer Rd. in Kingwood, TX. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 2929 Woodland Hills Dr. in Kingwood, TX. 77339. A Private interment at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.

Funeral: a funeral service was held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 2 p.m. in Kingwood, Texas at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church (2929 Woodland Hills Drive, Kingwood, Texas 77339). A Private interment at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery
