Bobby Glenn Brewton November 1, 1936 to July 1, 2017

Bobby Glenn Brewton - 80, passed away peacefully the morning of July 1, 2017.  Bobby was born in Crockett, Texas on November 1, 1936 to Emmett Thomas Brewton Sr.  and Nettie Lou Bowdin.  He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Nelda Maxine Levell, Mary Sue Wallin; his brother, Emmett Thomas Brewton, Jr.; and his first grandchild, Bridget Ann Hendricks.  

 

Bobby left the small town life of Porter Springs, Texas and moved to Houston, Texas to marry the love of his life.  He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ina Buchanan Brewton; daughters, Kelleyne Brewton, Carlette Schulz and husband, Douglas Schulz.  

 

Bobby was a loving and caring husband, Daddy and Papaw.  Bobby & Ina are blessed with 6 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

 

Bobby spent the majority of his working career at Faroy Inc. as their Warehouse/Manufacturing Manager.  In 1997 he & Ina had a dream of opening a restaurant and opened Granny’s Kitchen in Conroe, Texas.  

 

If you asked Bobby what he wanted for his birthday, Father’s Day, Christmas or any special occasion, he would always say, “I don’t need anything,  just time with you, just come see me”.  Time with loved ones meant everything to him.  

 

A celebration of Bobby’s life is scheduled for Saturday, August 5th, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Darst Funeral Home in Kingwood Texas.
